We Breathe! We Speak! We Sparkle!

Oy, It’s Spiritual Warrior Time Again!

When the Gods deal defeat to a person, they first take his mind away, so that he sees things wrongly.” from the Mahabharata

Use Seasonal Energy to Evolve

Autumn is Warrior Season: time to ruthlessly rid ourselves of what holds us back, harvest what nourishes us and take a stand for what we believe in. Our yoga practice clears the lungs to take in more life and support the heart to feel everything; fully present and ready to act.

Take on the energy of the Spiritual Warrior. Your compassion, courage and clarity will guide you to choose the quality of energy, thoughts and actions that embody your highest vision.

How This Has Been Showing Up In My Life

Lately, it feels like I am being tested. Fortunately, nothing is life-threatening. There’s just a constant stream of situations pushing my buttons, sometimes I feel like I can’t catch my breath or keep up. These little wake up calls carry information about my systemic reactions to life. They’re reminders not to get triggered and react but to stay plugged into Source and in creative relationship with what’s happening. That’s how I see clearly.

The little battles we constantly fight with reality become the stories we spin about our victimhood, which become the way we breathe, hold our bodies and shape ourselves and our world.

We see things wrongly and rigidify body and soul around that point of view.

Pick your battles wisely. Get yourself back to your breath, your body, your senses. Listen to the sounds around you, smell the smells, really see. It will create an opening that disrupts the old pattern of doom and gloom.

Waste nothing. Be grateful for and work with everything you have. Sharpen the blade of perception and cut through appearances to read the heart of the matter. Seek the gift in the hit and the silver lining in the cloud.

May we be peaceful,

Elizabeth & Bruce

Hi Andes…it is great to be reminded and inspired, again, by your words and energy. We have moved to the mountains of Utah, and the last months of finding a new home, remodeling, and the whole process of readjustment to a very different life style has been very challenging. Also, the adjustment of not living near any of my children has been hard on my heart. Lastly, reinventing the positive process of living, starting anew etc. All very challenging. Not a great deal of external support. So, reading your messages, practicing the 108 breaths is a wonderful reminder for me to use the skills I have neglected to embody daily. I thank you for your gifts of wisdom that you and Bruce are sharing. I feel your support across the country!

Even when we’re separated by so many miles and years, we’re never really apart.

      Sending you much love,
